Driven by relationships, communication, and shared goals to help make my team successful, I thrive in a positive and constructive environment.  I place a strong emphasis on critical thinking in both my personal and professional life and strive to always see things from both sides.  I am very detail oriented but always step back to see the big picture, which allows me to consider things from all angles.

At heart, I am a strengths-based coach and a visionary who develops and implements a plan to move a thought, idea or dream into a reality. I am intrinsically motivated to be a collaborating partner who inspires and encourages others to be the best versions of themselves by expanding self-awareness and engaging in a growth mindset to continually learn and grow professionally and personally. I find joy in guiding others to discover new insights about themselves that are empowering and fulfilling.  My superpowers are my strengths of hope (I believe and envision the best in the future and work to create it), gratitude (I appreciate and am thankful for the uniqueness and potential of every human), curiosity (I seek answers, explore and discover through experiences) and perspective (I engage an integral, holistic approach and value the inner wisdom we each hold within us).

I feel great joy in being able to make someone’s day a little bit better. Kindness is so important to me when building relationships.  I enjoy being part of a team, knowing that I helped achieve a goal, great or small.

I’m most passionate about the relationships I get to build with clients, both as professionals and as people.  I enjoy and get satisfaction from understanding my clients’ businesses and goals, helping them solve their challenges and helping new CCOs or compliance officers develop their own personal knowledge.  I’m naturally drawn toward complexity.  I am energized by attacking complex problems or client goals and digging into research.  The current regulatory environment for SEC-registered advisers and funds is as challenging as ever. I enjoy analyzing the new and amended rules, helping our team and clients get up to speed and figuring out how to best implement policies and practices to ensure our clients’ success.

I am an entrepreneur and mentor at heart. I see and value each person’s uniqueness and believe that uniqueness leads to life purpose and fulfillment and contributes to the overall success of a team or organization.  There are two things that inspire me: 1) Helping people learn new ways of being and doing; and 2) Creating innovative educational and organizational environments. When I encounter an outdated “system” or “process” that no longer serves a purpose, I rise to the challenge of creating a new one that will provide abundant opportunities for generations to come.  If I were a runner, I would sign up for the marathon, not the sprint.
